Hands down, boots are my favorite wardrobe item! There are a whole slew of women every year who literally count down the days to Boot Season. I am one of them!

Thigh high, OTK, Ankle boots , Knee high, Flat boots... I don’t discriminate.
I purchased this snakeskin pair from @express last season but they have a similar pair available now.

Ladies, if you love boots like myself, what are your favorite types to wear? If I had to pick it would be a good ole Thigh high/OTK(over the knee) but this year I’m steering more towards the knee high! They’re more functional.🖤🖤🖤

Sometimes you think that you’ve let go of past hurt because you have forgiven that person or thing but in all actuality it still lingers. It lingers and bleeds over everything in its path.

I’ve recently shared something with someone close to me that I have NEVER told a soul! Until I did so, I didn’t realize how much it affected me. Because I packaged it up and put it away, I thought I was good. I wasn’t!

God would not allow me to elevate to the next level until I “released” what was hindering my progress. He has a way bigger purpose for me to fulfill here, much more than I can imagine today.
•

But because He loves us dearly, He would never allow me to bleed all over His people! So I had to release! Therefore, It is done.

It has everything to do with my mindset! I chose this state and I continually remind myself that I make this choice and nobody or nothing can choose this for me.

Do I have difficult days and bad moments? Absolutely, but guess what? Those times don’t last forever! This state of mind is instilled from within so it won’t be easily broken boo!

As a result of this, my confidence is on 💯 I get more excited about trying new things and operating out of my comfort zone, and because of that life is much easier!

I take this quote very seriously these days. I can remember a time when I was so afraid to do the things I knew I was great at. When I would turn down opportunities because of fear. This lead me to a life of hopelessness and I felt imprisoned. Completely functioning with day to day life but that was just it!

I can’t remember an exact time when I began to break free of the narrative that held me in that place because it was a process and has been a journey.

But let me tell you, when you’re free you are free! The feeling is like no other. I don’t care what people say, no one can convince me to think or dream small! Not even myself in bad times!

You begin to truly live when you break down all the barriers of what society says life should look like. You begin to believe more in yourself and your power. Then things you have always desired just starts showing up!
