Where has the time gone?! We’re nearing the half year mark of 2021 and 2020 is beginning to be a distant memory.

I feel the return of normalcy in the air along with new beginnings. Ahhh, so refreshing!

In the beginning of this year, I chose a word that I wanted to define what 2021 should look like for me. That word is “execute” and regardless of how the year may have started for me, I will accomplish everything that I set out to with confidence and unapologetically!

These occasions won’t just fall into your lap. There’s no perfect time. You have the ability to create the conditions for what experiences you choose to encounter.

For example, If you’ve always desired to dine at this fancy restaurant, but it doesn’t really fit your wallet, then create a plan and budget that will get you to that restaurant.

I believe that living life is to do things that fuels your spirit. Life is meant to be enjoyed, however, it all starts with your mindset. You can have and do what you want in life.

Lately, I’ve been wanting to keep my nails simple so I took a bit of a break from the press-on nails. So I started back doing my own gel manicures.

Gel mani have always been my go to because they have the ability to last longer than press-on’s yet without having to make a commitment to acrylic nails.
•
•
I don’t know about you ladies but I’m not the biggest fan of getting my nails done at the nail salon. I don’t know why because I LOVE indulging in a great pedicure but sitting there getting my nails done is just not relaxing or therapeutic for me. 🤷🏾‍♀️

So recently, I went ahead and ordered a new led lamp from @amazon and gel polish set with a few pretty spring colors to get me started.

When I feel like getting saucy, I know I’ll always have my trusty press-on’s to save the day but for now I’d rather keep them short and natural. ✨

About last night! I had the honor of meeting R&B legends After 7! A group that I grew up listening to and still jam to this very day!

It was a pleasure being able to experience a group with over 30 yrs in the game rehearse and sound better than their albums!

Not only did I have the pleasure of meeting such a talented group, I also was able to grace a beautiful space where many of our favorite musicians and actors create the art we all love so much!

Such a great experience! This is what life is about, experiences. Experiences are very important to me because unlike material possessions, they last forever and can never be taken away!
